The current erosion control market is increasingly looking for biodegradable options to replace HDPE and Polypropylene fabrics that we have used in the past in our silt fence, straw wattle, compost sock and erosion control blanket applications. States including Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts in many cases now require biodegradable options. We now manufacture a biodegradable cotton sock, with the same strength and weave that we use in our non-biodegradable products. Biodegradable wattles can be used in all applications you would use our traditional wattle products. Bio wattles are cleaner and easier to handle than traditional open weave wattles.
